The pay range is $58,100.00 - $104,600.00

As a Business Partner, Executive Development you will operate at the intersection of your team and senior leaders across Target. At the core you are expected to leverage cross-functional teams in order to deliver a superior leader experience, and in a way that supports strategic organizational goals and senior leader success. You will be helping further Target's strategies in playing a key role with great execution of our senior leaders development experiences. You will be performing your role with minimal direction. You are expected to have a good understanding of the programs you support and design "how" work is accomplished by planning, organizing, executing and monitoring project plans/processes in addition to serving as the single point of contact & relationship manager for our senior leaders and facilitators on the team.

As a Business Partner, Executive Development you will:

  • Program manage Executive Development programs, acting as operations expert for each assigned program throughout the execution lifecycle.

  • Define, clarify and execute processes leveraging appropriate workflow management tools (e.g. Sharepoint, Smartsheet, Slack). Strong documentation and communication skills.

  • Maintain confidentiality in all executive interactions, including handling of confidential assessment data, visibility to potential ratings, informal conversations among executive leaders.

  • Apply discretion to decisions and work output using operations knowledge and external vendors to drive process improvements, maintain accountability to deliverables and handle secure data transfers.

  • Collect, review & publish program dashboards for facilitators, by leveraging relevant data sources including qualitative / quantitative evaluations and participant roster tracking.

  • Track pipeline & operational health of all assigned programs, through appropriate workflow management tools.

  • Create & maintain process documentation, prepare & share status reports with appropriate stakeholders at key milestones. Recommend process improvements to deliver a superior leader experience.

  • Build and maintain relationships with executives + admins across the enterprise.

About you:

  • 2+ years of work experience in project management, communicating with senior leaders and working across complex systems & processes

  • Onsite availability for relevant development offerings

  • Some familiarity with development assessments, such as StrengthsFinder, MBTI or KornFerry 360, is preferred but not required

  • Ability to build & edit within workflow management systems (Smartsheets, Sharepoint, Slack) and data / reporting tools (Smartsheets, Excel, Greenfield)

  • Ability to manage and execute multiple priorities across a variety of partners and vendors. This includes attention to detail, time management and maintaining level of service.

  • Demonstrated experience building & maintaining relationships with executives, a client-service mindset

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across all settings, ability to tailor message as appropriate

  • Resourceful and able to work independently & fill-in gaps of information

  • Demonstrated flexibility in your approach and adapt to changing priorities & requirements

  • Bringing innate curiosity to drive process improvements, while maintaining solid business judgment and firm prioritization
    This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
