Pine Village, a Christian-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing compassionate care and meaningful community connections, is seeking an outgoing and skilled professional to join our team as Director of Fund Development. The Director of Fund Development oversees all fundraising initiatives for Pine Village, including planning and executing Benefit Day events and collaborating closely with the Pine Village Endowment Foundation. A qualified candidate would have strong verbal and written communication skills, as this role focuses on building relationships with donors, strengthening community partnerships, and developing strategies that enhance philanthropic support.

Role Overview

A Long-Term Care (LTC) Fund Development Director is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of fundraising and donor engagement for a long-term care organization. This role ensures sustainable funding for services, programs, and facilities by cultivating relationships with donors, securing grants, and executing fundraising campaigns.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Fundraising Planning: Develop and implement fundraising strategies aligned with the organization’s mission, growth plans, and financial needs.
  • Donor Cultivation & Stewardship: Identify, engage, and maintain relationships with individual donors, foundations, corporations, and government entities; manage donor databases and CRM systems.
  • Grant Acquisition & Management: Write and submit grant proposals, manage grant calendars, and oversee reporting and compliance.
  • Fundraising Campaigns: Lead annual giving campaigns, capital campaigns, and special events; coordinate sponsorships, event logistics, and donor acknowledgments.
  • Major Gifts & Legacy Giving: Develop and execute major gift programs, including planned giving initiatives, to support endowments and long-term funding.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Prepare development reports for leadership and the Board; ensure adherence to fundraising ethics and compliance requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Administrator, CFO/CEO, Board, program staff, and other departments to align fundraising goals with operational needs.


Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or experience in nonprofit fund development, with proven success in meeting or exceeding fundraising goals.
  • Expertise in grant writing and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a commitment to the organization’s mission and values.
