Machine Supervisor – Second Shift $2 Differential will begin after training and start of 2nd shift.

Your Impact
The Machine Supervisor is responsible for overseeing second-shift manufacturing operations, ensuring machines and production lines operate safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards. This position supervises machine operators, coordinates production activities, monitors performance, and helps resolve equipment or production issues.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support all machine operators during second shift.
  • Assign employees to machines and production areas based on production requirements and staffing needs.
  • Monitor machine operation, production output, downtime, and product quality.
  • Ensure employees follow company safety policies, operating procedures, and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot production and machine-related problems and coordinate maintenance support when needed.
  • Conduct shift start-up meetings and communicate production priorities and expectations.
  • Monitor attendance, employee performance, and adherence to work procedures.
  • Train, coach, and develop machine operators and new employees.
  • Complete production reports, shift logs, quality documentation, and other required paperwork.
  • Communicate shift status, equipment issues, quality concerns, and staffing needs to management and the incoming shift.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
  • Help meet daily production schedules, efficiency goals, and quality targets.
  • Follow company policies and assist with continuous-improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing or machine-operation experience required.
  • Supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot basic machine problems.
  • Ability to read and understand production instructions and safety procedures.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work second shift and occasional overtime as required.
