Job description

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Teach clinical portions of courses.
  2. Prepare and distribute course syllabi to students.
  3. Perform all preparation requirements for laboratory exercises.
  4. Evaluate student progress through examinations, quizzes, observations and laboratory reports.
  5. Act as liaison between the college and the student.
  6. Implement curriculum changes at the request of the Director of Nursing, as requested.
  7. Maintain appropriate instructional laboratories and equipment.
  8. Be available for individual student assistance advising and/or consultation as necessary.
  9. Participate in curriculum development, revisions and evaluation activities.
  10. Maintain a high level of academic competency through staff development activities.
  11. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing and/or Vice President of Instruction.
