Food Manufacturing Production Machinery Operator (Mechanical Focus)

Are you the person teammates turn to when a sensor misreads, a belt slips, or a changeover needs to happen fast? If you love keeping high-speed lines dialed in and take pride in safe, reliable, efficient production, this role is for you.

What You Will Do
  • Run and monitor high-speed packaging and production equipment to achieve daily targets.
  • Complete setups, changeovers, and fine-tuning to maintain throughput and quality.
  • Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues; clean, lubricate, inspect, and perform basic repairs.
  • Support preventive maintenance and escalate complex repairs to Maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the Packaging Lead and Maintenance Team to enhance line performance.
  • Follow OSHA, GMP, SQF, and HACCP; engage in safety programs and hazard reporting.
  • Record downtime, repairs, and performance in CMMS (EAM); report throughput, material use, and waste.

What You Bring
  • 1–2 years in a manufacturing environment (high-speed packaging preferred).

  • Comfort with high-speed equipment and basic maintenance tools.
  • CMMS (EAM) experience preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED; technical certification a plus.
  • Proficient in English (written and verbal).
