Job description

 Join Toshiba America Business Solutions as a Shop Technician I in Peachtree Corners, GA.

 
Responsible for in-house, service, set up and refurbishment of equipment in accordance with Toshiba Manufacturer quality standards.
 
What You'll Do
 
• Responsible for the set-up of all equipment requested for demo pool, sold orders, service loaners, and refurbished equipment at on-site location.
• Ensure showroom is in working order and all machines are maintained in a clean and proper manner.
• Ensure machines have proper paperwork, accessories, supplies and updates before they leave. Ensure accuracy of serial numbers and products on order staging paperwork.
• Troubleshoot failures and repairs for copiers/fax/duplicators equipment; refurbish used equipment, which includes cleaning and repairing.
• Maintain tools and test equipment to ensure they are in service-ready condition.
• May assist with warehouse duties or may serve as back-up for delivery driver. Assist in loading and unloading machines from delivery trucks.
• Complete assignments according to priority while executing proper time management.
• Submit accurate and legible setup call reports. Ensure all demo and sale equipment is set up to Toshiba's standards and meets installation schedules; Inform Shop Supervisor if there is a problem preventing the release of equipment.
• Complete service training as required by Toshiba Business Solutions
• Complete dealer and manufacturer training on specified systems.
• Attend department meetings as required.
• Maintain Shop Area in clean and orderly fashion. Conduct job responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner according to TABS safety policies and procedures. Comply with all local, state and federal safety and health regulations, programmatic standards, and special safety concerns identified by TABS for use in specific areas or with clients/customers.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
 
What You’ll Bring
 
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of one year of experience as a Shop Technician or in technical repair and service of copier/office equipment.
• Ability to lift 50lbs. The job involves frequent bending, lifting, and reaching.
 
Earn Well
 
• Hourly range $18.00-$20.00, depending on experience.
