Our detailers/cleabners are an integral part of that team. Our motorcoaches are some of the nicest and most pristine equipment on the road and our detailers have an important role in keeping our fleet looking good for the next athletic team’s trip, or tour group going on their next adventure, or a chartered event!

Arrow Stage Lines is looking for a motorcoach detailer for our Norfolk, NE location. Candidate must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and perform efficiently and effectively with minimum supervision and direction. The basic function of the motorcoach detailer is to prepare motorcoaches for the next trip assignment for the comfort and convenience of our passengers.

Pay range is $20 - $25 per hour (based on experience)!


This is a part-time position which is on-call. The hours are dependent upon when the charters are scheduled to leave and when the bus needs to depart. This can include early morning or late evening shifts.

Exterior Duties:


  • Uses presoak, brushes, and pressure washer to wash the exterior of the motorcoach/vehicle.
  • Scrubs all wheels and tires, scrubs bugs off the front of the bus, and scrubs the back of the bus for oil.
  • Squeegees down all windows.
  • Use cleaning rags to wipe down exterior windows and mirror glass.


Interior Duties:

  • Clean inside of vehicle to include overhead luggage bins, seats, kick panels and footrests.
  • Clean all windows and window frames.
  • Sweep and mop floors of vehicle.
  • Clean complete lavatory area.
  • Clean driver compartment area.


Other Duties:

  • Ensures interior supply boxes are appropriately stocked.
  • Ensures miscellaneous finishing touches are completed (i.e., wastebaskets are emptied and cleaned, place lost items in lost and found, spray air freshener, etc.)
  • Drives motorcoaches/vehicles into and out of the bay.
  • At end of shift, washes down all floors, hangs up all hoses, and performs all other assigned end of shift procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Reliable transportation and regular attendance (work assigned shifts)
  • Must be able to use power wash machine and use repetitive motion with machine and wash brushes, squeegees, etc.
  • Ability to lift 25-30 lbs.
  • Mechanical knowledge is helpful.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must be able to pay attention to detail.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to work with various cleaning soaps and chemicals.
  • Must be flexible with hours and days worked. Evening and weekend work is required.
  • Able to work in a team, as well as individually.
  • Must be able to drive motorcoaches and company vehicles safely.
  • Ability to work independently with little to no direction.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under time pressures.
  • Ability to complete cleaner checklist for each vehicle cleaned.
  • Willingness to work in wet, hot, and cold conditions in a maintenance shop environment.
  • Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods of time and perform consistently in physically demanding role.
  • Must have the ability to open bus bay doors and use a pressure washer.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.

Required Experience:

  • Must have at least one year of vehicle cleaning experience.
  • Must have driver's license, excellent driving record, and reliable transportation to and from shifts.
  • CDL experience a plus.
