- Complete CMM programs for production using PC-DMIS Cad++
- Update old CMM programs with updated revision changes
- Verify fabricated components, weldments, and assemblies meet customer drawing requirements.
- Perform inspections on products, equipment and machinery.
- Assist in QC Audits and Process Monitoring in all Production departments.
- Assist in Factory Acceptance Testing of finished products.
- Record all related Quality Records with regards to verification, testing, auditing, and calibration results.
- Work with different department supervisors using the 8D process for root cause analysis.
- Generate timely Quality Reports as required to ensure all Processes are functioning optimally.
- Incorporate and Implement Continuous Improvement and Lean principles in daily work.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2+ years' experience in Manufacturing or Fabrication Quality Assurance roles.
- Must be able to read mechanical fabrication drawings
- Must be able to properly use and maintain measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, profilers, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and work proactively in a team environment.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient with MS Office.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment effectively under pressure.
- Ability to work overtime or weekends as business needs require, with advance notice whenever possible.
- Must be able to perform the essential job requirements identified in the Functional Job Description for this position, including the ability to lift and move 47 lbs
