What You’ll Do:

Drive Manufacturing Excellence

  • Troubleshoot production floor issues and implement effective corrective actions, including process improvements, tooling and fixture enhancements, or collaboration with R&D on design updates.
  • Partner with Product Engineering and Production to improve Design for Manufacturability (DFM) for new products and design concepts.

Lead New Product & Process Introductions

  • Coordinate manufacturing introductions for new parts and products by establishing equipment needs, routings, and requirements for jigs, fixtures, and tooling.
  • Identify and validate new equipment, technologies, and procedures to support efficient, high‑quality manufacturing.

Optimize Workflow & Efficiency

  • Analyze workforce utilization, floor space, and workflow to design efficient layouts for equipment and work areas.
  • Collaborate with management and cross‑functional teams to align manufacturing capabilities with production schedules and strategic goals.
  • Support systems and initiatives that improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and apply A3 problem‑solving and lean manufacturing principles.

Develop People & Processes

  • Train manufacturing operators on new or updated processes, tools, and equipment.
  • Uphold and model Andis Core Values in all day‑to‑day work and interactions.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) with at least 5+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and training.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
  • Experience working with an ERP system.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as milling, grinding, lapping, or automation is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of engineering science, design techniques, and production processes.
