Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by seeking out and engaging with customers, going through the steps of the sale to determine their needs, recommending appropriate products, and promoting the Scheels Visa Credit Card
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge in all selling areas, as well as lead product knowledge training for other associates
  • Consistently meet or exceed personal sales goals while delivering a high-quality customer experience
  • Manage inventory by running and analyzing Internal Flash Reports
  • Effectively maintain an organized backstock while ensuring merchandise is properly displayed and replenished on the sales floor
  • Ensures their product is accurately displayed to customers through price tagging, sales stickers, and signage
  • Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and team-oriented atmosphere
  • Communicate professionally with other associates within the store, the Scheels Campus, and Vendors/Sales Representatives
  • Ensures their work area is clean, organized, and meets safety standards
  • Ability to perform basic math; perform operations using units of currency, measurements, and understand percentages
  • Ability to work assigned schedule; may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Including product knowledge meetings

Compensation:
Starting $45,000-$48,000 annually (a combination of hourly wage + sales commission).
Schedule Requirements:
This position does require some evenings, weekends and various holidays.
Education & Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), 1-3 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:
Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
