POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the maintenance of all grooming equipment for the resort, including facilitating summer and preventative maintenance. Work closely with management in maintaining equipment to best support grooming plans. Assist with other departments and resort equipment maintenance as needed. This is a full-time year-round position. This role pays $27.00 - $32.00 an hour.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • To provide the maintenance of all grooming machines and additional shop equipment.

  • Responsible for record keeping, work orders, and parts inventory for all jobs performed.

  • Assist with on hill grooming duties and summer procedures as needed

  • Attend staff meetings and training as required by the resort and department leaders

  • Work in a safe and appropriate manner utilizing all safety equipment provided

  • Additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required

  • Heavy machinery experience

  • Welding experience, preferred

  • Grooming mechanic experience, preferred

  • Hydraulic/electrical system knowledge

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Must be willing and capable of working outside in all weather conditions

  • This position will be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
