Description

We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Spot Welder to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will independently manufacture assemblies of varying sizes and complexities from detailed drawings. You'll be responsible for welding parts and sub-assemblies using jigs and fixtures to meet specific quality standards. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Weld manufactured parts and sub-assemblies using jigs, fixtures, and detailed drawings.
  • Locate position of parts and then spot weld them according to blueprint specifications.
  • Using a specialized machine, the operator is responsible for setting up, adjusting parameters, and controlling the machine to create consistent, high-quality spot welds.
  • Proficiently use a variety of hand and power tools as needed for assembly and finishing.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Assist other departments as directed.

 Qualifications and Essential Functions

  • Proficiently read and understand blueprints, work instructions, and travelers.
  • Adept at using small hand and power tools.
  • Good paperwork and counting skills.
  • Able to troubleshoot as needed.
  • Knowledge of shop measurement techniques.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs., and perform physical tasks such as bending, sitting, and standing repeatedly.
  • Able to work and interact in a "Team" oriented department.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
