Machine Operator/Programmer – Program and Operate Precision Industrial Machinery at Memco Inc


Job Overview

  • Schedule: 4-Day Work Week (Monday – Thursday, with optional Friday overtime)

The Opportunity

You will play a pivotal role in driving high-precision production across diverse industrial machining projects. This role gives you the opportunity to showcase your expertise in programming, setting up, and operating advanced machinery while working on custom parts up to 40 feet long. You will thrive in a dynamic environment that values your technical craft and offers excellent work-life balance with a 4-day workweek.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC machinery using Fanuc controls and Mastercam software.
  • Interpret complex blueprints and CAD models to generate accurate toolpaths for large industrial parts.
  • Execute setups and machining operations for custom components reaching up to 40 feet in length.
  • Perform first-piece inspections and adjust speeds, feeds, and tooling to guarantee precise tolerances.
  • Troubleshoot programming and operational issues directly on the shop floor to maximize machine uptime.
  • Collaborate with shop management to streamline machining workflows and optimize production cycle times.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 7 years of minimum experience  
  • Proven expertise in setting up, operating, and programming CNC machinery.
  • Direct experience programming with Mastercam and operating machines with Fanuc controls.
  • Strong ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and precision measuring instruments.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Up to 10 years of related work experience in an industrial machine shop environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Hands-on experience working with large-scale industrial components.
