Job Summary:
This is a working Lead, who will manage and organize the day to day operation of the service department.
Requirements
Working under the supervision and guidance of the service manager and director of service, performs a variety of specific technical, and assistive functions; including, but not limited to:
โ€ข Evaluates, services, maintains, and corrects unit conditions by conducting inspections, preventative maintenance and diagnostic testing
โ€ข Services and maintains tools, equipment, vehicles and supplies
โ€ข assessment and prioritiziation of daily operational activities at site level
โ€ข Support the focus on service goals and standards, while aiding and challenging peers
โ€ข Support training and supervision of service personnel as directed by local management
โ€ข Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
โ€ข On-call availability as required by management
โ€ข Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
Job Requirements:
Two years of mechanical experience in transport refrigeration preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, twist, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, climb stairs/ladders.
  • Ability to lift / carry / push / pull up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Ability to work in hot and cold temperature extremes.
  • Ability to wear required PPE (personal protective equipment)
