Speed Global Services is avidly seeking to add a Mechanic & Shop Helper to our growing team in Buffalo, NY!! As a Mechanic?s Helper one would be responsible for assisting with shop and inventory needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist mechanics in performing maintenance and repairs on all equipment.
  • Document maintenance and repairs as required.
  • Detail and wash equipment as required.
  • Maintain and organize inventory of replacement parts and equipment.
  • Inspect tools and equipment to ensure everything is in working order.
  • Regularly clean shop facility to ensure a safe work environment.
  • General labor duties such as cleaning, painting, and repair work for facilities as needed.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical and regulation publications.
  • Enhances maintenance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
