Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize safety as a core principle
  • Interpret work orders and blueprints to determine machining requirements
  • Set-up and operate multi-axis CNC machining centers
  • Ensuring proper machine adjustments
  • Machine of quality parts for window & door manufacture
  • Perform quality workmanship with dimensional accuracy
  • Inspect completed parts according to specifications
  • Document & report productivity and non-conforming records
  • Perform secondary machining operations as needed
  • Perform daily maintenance activities to machines as prescribed
  • Maintain a clean and orderly machines & workstations
  • Participate in and contribute to a continuous improvement culture
  • Work professionally and positively with others to achieve a healthy and cohesive working relationship
  • All other duties as assigned 

Qualification/Education Requirements:

  • Introductory skill level in CNC machining
  • Ability to utilize various machine-shop measuring instruments helpful
  • Ability to read a tape measure to 1/32" accuracy
  • Appetite for a mechanical job role striving to deliver OEE (Optimal Equipment Effectiveness)
  • Machining experience helpful
