Job description

Job Title: Machine OperatorJob Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our fast-paced stone fabrication team. The position operates from Monday through Thursday, 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately measure and cut granite to job specifications using a tape measure and shop diagrams.
  • Operate and feed polishing and beveling machines.
  • Cut granite to length after processing, ensuring precision and adherence to design.
  • Manage the proper flow of tops to stay on production schedule.
  • Select and utilize appropriate tooling for CNC-based machinery.
  • Participate in preventative maintenance for CNC equipment.
  • Maximize production efficiency while minimizing remakes.
  • Assist in process development related to CNC routers.
  • Adjust and dress CNC tooling as needed.
Essential Skills
  • Machine operation, including polishing and fabricating parts for countertops consisting of granite, quartz, and other materials.
  • General labor and machine operating skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop diagrams.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, saw operation, and grinders.
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience in construction.
  • Strong ability to use a tape measure and perform sanding, finishing, and deburring tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Requires Steel Toed-Non Slip Boots (PCT can provide wet boots if needed).
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment.

Work Environment
