Job description

Position Summary
Entry-level, hands-on role supporting daily shop operations. Performs grinding and finishing work, handles shipping and receiving, maintains shop cleanliness, and assists other departments as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grind, deburr, and clean fabricated steel parts to meet quality standards
  • Load and unload trucks; stage, package, and prepare outbound shipments
  • Receive incoming material, verify against packing slips, and move to proper storage locations
  • Sweep and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shop
  • Assist welders, machine operators, and assembly personnel with projects as directed
  • Move material and parts using hand trucks, forklifts, or overhead cranes (training provided)
  • Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE at all times
