About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Shop Welder to join our team. As a Shop Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components to support our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and a commitment to safety.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of a welding program or apprenticeship
  • At least 2 years of experience in welding and fabrication
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in welding
  • Experience with MIG, TIG, and stick welding
  • Experience with welding stainless steel and aluminum
  • Experience with welding heavy equipment and machinery

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine welding requirements
  • Operate welding equipment to weld and fabricate metal components
