Job description

You will be the Machine Repair Oiler for the Machine Repair Team. Our team is responsible for maintenance and repair of hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic factory machine tools.


What You Will Be Doing


As the Machine Repair Oiler you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties to put into operation, maintain, overhaul and repair mechanically various types of lesscomplicated hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic factory machine tools such as drill presses, foot shears, radialarm routers, band saws and kickpunch press. You will locate and diagnose sources of trouble, dismantle and repair or replace worn or faulty parts, and reassemble machines. You will also repair coolant pumps, perform routine repairs on more complex machines, assist A Mechanics, use precision measuring instruments, keep your work area clean, and refer unusual problems to the Lead or Supervisor.


Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:



  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues.

  • Disassemble, repair, or replace faulty components and reassemble machines.

  • Perform routine maintenance and overhaul of factory machine tools.

  • Repair coolant pumps and conduct complex repairs as directed.

  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and collaborate with A Mechanics and supervisors.
