A machine repair technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment. Their duties often include inspecting machines, identifying faults, replacing or repairing defective parts, and ensuring that equipment operates efficiently and safely. They may work with a variety of machines, such as industrial production equipment, factory machinery, or even specialized tools.
