Position – Machine Maintenance Tech

Job Location – Butler, WI

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Direct Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 2nd and 3rd shift schedules. MUST BE ABLE TO TRAIN ON 1ST SHIFT FOR SEVERAL MONTHS

Starting Pay –$24 to $25 to start, depending on experience

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience


We are seeking a detail-oriented machine maintenance tech! In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and smooth operations by setting up and configuring machinery for production runs. This includes operating all machines in the department, setting up work orders to specifications, troubleshooting, and performing daily maintenance and minor repairs on machines.


What You'll Do:

  • Troubleshoot, maintain and operate various machines
  • Examine work orders to determine specifications.
  • Inspect product quality according to quality guidelines.
  • Check orders throughout production to ensure accuracy of labeling, printing, and packaging.
  • Perform hands-on daily machine maintenance, changeovers, and set-up of machines.
  • Execute minor machine repairs.
  • Troubleshoot minor operating difficulties, including analyzing machine operations, inspecting products, and making necessary mechanical adjustments to eliminate quality variations and mechanical malfunctions.

What We're Looking For:

  • Candidates with hands-on mechanical ability.
  • Experience setting up orders on machines in a production/manufacturing environment OR experience in an auto/fleet mechanic environment.
  • Experience as a mechanic, automotive mechanic, fleet mechanic, or farm mechanic is highly valued.
