Card Production Machine Operator

About your role:
Join the Card Production team in Nashville at Fiserv, a global leader in payments and financial services. You will either operate world-class EMV personalization equipment to embed EMV chips into payment cards or a lamination machine, ensuring accuracy, security, and on-time fulfillment of client orders.

What you'll do:

  • Operate, set up, and tend EMV personalization machinery (including Muehlbauer equipment) to embed EMV chips into personalized credit, debit, and prepaid cards.
  • Execute production runs to complete smart card orders by specified deadlines while meeting client Service Level Agreements and internal quality standards.
  • Verify proper functionality of EMV chips and perform inspection and quality checks on finished cards.
  • Perform basic preventive maintenance, routine troubleshooting, and report equipment faults to maintenance teams.
  • Enter production data and maintain accurate production and defect logs in shop-floor systems.
  • Participate in cross-training across machines and processes to support team flexibility and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow strict security, confidentiality, safety, and quality procedures while supporting productivity targets.

Experience you'll need to have:

  • 1+ years of machine operating experience in a fast-paced environment.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (or a combination of education, work, and military experience).
  • 2+ years of machine operating experience in fast-paced manufacturing or card personalization environments.
  • 1+ years of direct Muehlbauer equipment operating experience.

How you'll work:

  • You will work an assigned schedule of either 1st shift 6am-2pm or a rotating 12 hour 1st or 3rd shift schedule of: 6:00am-6:00pm or 6:00pm-6:00am.
  • This role requires flexibility to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
  • This role requires frequent moving and/or carrying of materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • This role requires the ability to stand for a majority of the shift; safely lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds; lift above your shoulders; and climb, squat, kneel, twist, push, and bend frequently during each shift.
