Machine Operator Job Summary

  • 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST | Monday–Thursday | $18.00 per hour

Machine Operator Key Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety protocols and plant procedures at all times.
  • Assemble, install, and align fixtures or assemblies according to specifications.
  • Ensure all necessary parts and materials are available and organized.
  • Load and unload fixtures; make necessary adjustments for precision.
  • Submit first-off sample to QA for quality approval.
  • Adjust welding equipment or fixtures as needed to meet blueprint specs.
  • Use calipers, micrometers, scales, and gauges to perform basic measurements and quality checks.
  • Support additional tasks assigned to maintain smooth production flow.

Machine Operator Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Must have strong experience in manufacturing and machine operating
  • Able to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and production instructions.
  • Comfortable performing basic math operations, including with fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Capable of following written, verbal, and diagrammed instructions.
  • Physically able to:
  • Walk or stand for long periods (up to 10 hours per shift)
  • Occasionally bend, stoop, crawl, or kneel
