MACHINE OPERATOR | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Cockeysville MD 21031 – 100% on-site
- Payrate:Â $18.55/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | 3rd Shift, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- Overtime may be required based on production needs
MACHINE OPERATOR | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining automated production equipment while ensuring product quality, safety, and compliance with manufacturing standards.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
MACHINE OPERATOR | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up, operate, and monitor automated manufacturing equipment
- Adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and production efficiency
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and minor equipment repairs
- Troubleshoot machine and product quality issues
- Inspect in-process materials and remove defective products
- Complete quality, safety, and maintenance documentation accurately
- Assist with root cause investigations and process improvement activities
- Follow established operating procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Support production, packaging, labeling, assembly, and inspection operations as needed
MACHINE OPERATOR | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable); Technical Associate Degree accepted in lieu of experience
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience required
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read charts, follow diagrams, and complete documentation required
- Basic computer proficiency, including Windows-based systems
- Ability to recognize and respond to process deviations
- Strong troubleshooting and decision-making abilities
