Job description

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $19.85hr - $24.85hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 1-2 years of experience operating CNC machines.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Ability to use a computer for production logs.
  • Understanding and knowledge of company procedures and work instructions.
  • Compliance with background and drug screening requirements including SSN verification, education verification, employment verification, and criminal history searches.
  • Ability to pass a 5-panel drug screen (No THC).

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-operations inspections to ensure machine is ready to be operated in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Read and execute daily production schedules as directed by the supervisor.
  • Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points on material or work pieces as guides for subsequent machining.
  • Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machinery.
  • Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut.
  • Operate Mazak or VL86 machinery.
  • Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.
  • Adjust machine controls or control media as required and report problems to the supervisor.
  • Verify conformance of finished work pieces to specifications and stop production if parts are out of specification.
  • Confer with supervisor to resolve machining problems.
  • Produce daily production reports, inspections, and other reports as directed.
  • Maintain a safe and organized workstation and follow all company policies and safety procedures.
