Brink Constructors

Operators are responsible for effectively and safely operating and performing daily maintenance on heavy equipment. This may include (but is not limited to) use motor graders, backhoes, scrapers, dozers, skid steers, trenchers, excavators, loaders, forklift/telehandlers, water trucks, compactors, dump trucks, semi-trucks, mulchers and seeders.

Position requires 100% travel anywhere throughout the MidWest

Pay: This is a non-exempt hourly role. The pay range is $28 - $50 per hour


  • Learn and follow safety regulations. 
  • Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects. 
  • Locate underground services, such as pipes or wires, prior to beginning work. 
  • Monitor operations to ensure that health and safety standards are met. 
  • Adjust handwheels and depress pedals to control attachments, such as blades, buckets, scrapers, or swing booms. 
  • Mechanical — Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. 
  • Operating Vehicles, Mechanized Devices, or Equipment — Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as forklifts, passenger vehicles, aircraft, or water craft. 
  • Inspecting Equipment, Structures, or Material — Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects. 
  • Getting Information — Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources. 
  • Controlling Machines and Processes — Using either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes (not including computers or vehicles). 
  • Monitor Processes, Materials, or Surroundings — Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems. 
  • Position construction or extraction equipment. 
  • Locate equipment or materials in need of repair or replacement. 
  • Monitor construction operations. 
  • Operate heavy-duty construction or installation equipment.
