Job Title: Weekend Machine Operator

Job Description

The Machine Operator sets up, operates, and maintains routing and thermoforming equipment to produce high-quality parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures machines run efficiently and safely, parts meet required specifications, and finished products are properly assembled, packaged, and prepared for shipment while collaborating closely with the production team.

Weekend Shift: Fri-Sun 7am-7pm

Responsibilities

  • Operate routing machines and related equipment efficiently and safely to produce high-quality parts.
  • Set up machines for routing processes, including tooling setup, adjustments, and basic calibration as required.
  • Monitor machine operations continuously to ensure parts meet established quality standards and specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of thermoform equipment to support reliable and consistent production.
  • Conduct final assembly of parts and products according to production requirements and work instructions.
  • Package and label finished goods accurately for shipment, ensuring correct identification and protection of products.
  • Assist with general production and assembly tasks as needed to support overall manufacturing output.
  • Troubleshoot basic machine issues and escalate more complex problems to appropriate personnel when necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency and quality.
  • Follow all safety procedures and housekeeping standards to maintain a clean and safe work area.

Essential Skills

  • At least 6 months of machine operating experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience with machine operation and basic machine setup.
  • Ability to perform general labor and general production tasks in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience monitoring machines to ensure parts meet quality and specification requirements.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for identifying and addressing common machine issues.
  • Ability to perform assembly work and follow detailed instructions and production guidelines.
  • Comfort working with CNC or automated production equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate labeling, packaging, and quality checks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a production team.
