Job description

We are looking for a motivated and engaged team member to join our growing organization. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring production machinery used in the manufacturing of cabinet doors. This role ensures cabinet door components are produced accurately, efficiently, and safely according to work orders, specifications, and quality standards.

The Machine Operator plays a key role in maintaining consistent product quality, meeting production goals, and supporting overall manufacturing operations. Some responsibilities include but are not limited to: Job Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Keep work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout practices, and wear required PPE Operate production machinery such as CNC routers, shapers, sanders, saws, or molding equipment used in cabinet door manufacturing Set up machines according to work orders, specifications, and production requirements Load raw materials and unload finished components safely and efficiently Monitor machine operations to ensure proper performance and product quality Inspect finished cabinet door components for defects, dimensions, and finish quality Make minor machine adjustments as needed to maintain specifications Perform basic troubleshooting and report equipment malfunctions to supervisors or maintenance Maintain accurate production documentation and follow job routing instructions Meet production, quality, and efficiency standards Assist with other production tasks as needed Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to read basic measurements and use measuring tools Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination Ability to work independently and as part of a team Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to safely operate industrial woodworking or manufacturing equipment Strong understanding of quality standards and defect identification Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment Dependable, punctual, and quality-focused Job Qualifications and Education High school diploma or GED required Previous experience in manufacturing, machine operation, or cabinet industry preferred Knowledge of cabinet manufacturing processes, materials, and construction methods a plus Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach, for extended periods Ability to lift up to 5075lbs occasionally Repetitive hand, arm, and wrist movements Exposure to noise, dust, and typical manufacturing conditions Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE)
