Job Type Full-time Description Stevens Industries is looking for skilled CNC Machine Operators to cut, band, and drill cabinet parts for production. A machine operator needs to possess attention to detail and a willingness to learn. On-the-job training is vital to the success ofa machine operator and allows for the potential to become a senior operator.

Being a team player is essential since all tasks require close collaboration with co-workers. Ability to troubleshoot the machine to maintain efficiency and quality of product is important. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.

Set up machine for production 2. Adjust and control machine speed setting 3. Feed raw material or parts into semi-automated machines 4.

Ensure parts are correct compared to drawing and make corrections/adjustments as needed 5. Check for any mistakes or flaws in parts 6. Maintain records of units produced 7.

Keep production flowing by ensuring parts are complete 8. Ability to be a good team member and contribute to a team environment. Requirements 1.

Preferred machine operating experience 2. Ability to read blueprint and computer programs 3. Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools 4.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings 5. Mechanical aptitude and good math skills 6. A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach 7.
