Job description

We are hiring an experienced Press Operator to safely and efficiently operate flexographic and/or rotogravure printing presses. The ideal candidate has printing experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate flexographic and/or rotogravure printing presses.
  • Follow customer, manufacturing, and print specifications.
  • Monitor viscosity, pH, color, register, and cold-seal coverage.
  • Perform required quality checks and testing.
  • Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
  • Reduce waste, improve press efficiency, and minimize customer returns.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Follow all company, safety, and environmental procedures.
  • Properly handle and label hazardous waste as required.
  • Work closely with Shift Managers and production team members.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous flexographic or rotogravure printing experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications.
  • Good computer and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
  • Commitment to safety and quality.

Physical & Work Environment

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and operate machinery for extended periods.
