The Opportunity: Press Brake Operator
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Press Brake Operator is responsible for the set-up, adjustment, and operation of our press brake machines to perform a wide variety of prototype jobs, short run parts, and long run parts. The operator will need to inspect parts and make adjustments to ensure adherence to quality standards. May also be asked to help in other areas such as: machining, pemming, laser/deburring.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Set up, run, and adjust machines to ensure quality parts
  • Read blueprints and apply knowledge of GD&T principles.
  • Works independently and with team members to help get difficult jobs done.
  • Able to float and help in different sheet metal departments as needed.

Reports To: Sheet Metal Supervisor
Basic Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of press brake experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Amada-type machines a plus
  • Panel bender and slip roll knowledge a plus
