About The Role
The Order Picker is responsible for performing a variety of tasks such as picking and filling stock orders, packing and shipping, managing, organizing and retrieving inventory, and other general warehouse duties as required.
What You'll Do
- Identify and stock merchandise at the indicated location
- Box, package and display merchandise according to procedures and standards
- Prepare all orders for shipment
- Place and organize merchandise in trucks for delivery to customers
- Record and report any shortages or damaged items
- Operate necessary machinery (e.g. forklift)
- Have to do cyclical inventory counts (occasionally)
- General cleaning
- Follow all safety guidelines
- Other related tasks may be assigned to meet business needs
- Position type: permanent / full-time
What We're Looking For
- Previous warehouse experience of at least one (1) year (asset);
- Forklift operator's certificate (asset);
- Physical stamina, manual dexterity and ability to lift loads up to 20kg;
- Team spirit, versatility, autonomy and attention to detail;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Willingness and ability to work overtime and weekends, as required.
