Principal Accountabilities
- Ensuring food safety and quality
- Maintaining a safe work environment
- Supporting roles in the case ready meat process
- Assisting Machine Operator and set up/teardown
- Picking, sorting, labeling, bagging, boxing, packing, pushing, pulling, and lifting product weighing 20lbs - 60lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Performing repetitive labour in a fast-paced environment
- Working with raw meat particularly but not limited to Beef and Pork
- Ability to work in temperature-controlled environment (Cold 0-4 Celsius)
- Cleanliness and housekeeping
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be currently legal to work in Canada
- Must be comfortable with picking, sorting, labeling, boxing, and packing raw meat products
- Must be able to push, pull and lift product weighing 20lbs - 60lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to work in cold (0-4 Celsius) environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Food processing production experience
