Are you looking for more than just a job? We're looking for a dependable, motivated Coating Machine Operator who takes pride in producing quality work and is interested in growing their skills in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

In this role, you'll operate our powder coating system to prepare, coat, and cure manufactured parts while ensuring high standards of quality and safety. Beyond powder coating, you could have the opportunity to cross-train in other areas of our fabrication department, expanding your skills and advancing your career.

What You'll Do

As a Coating Machine Operator, you will:

  • Safely operate powder coating equipment while following all safety procedures and wearing required PPE.
  • Clean, prepare, coat, and bake powder-coated finishes on manufactured parts.
  • Move parts manually or with hoists, cranes, or forklifts.
  • Organize and identify racks and parts throughout the coating process.
  • Inspect coated parts to verify proper coverage and finish quality.
  • Operate coating equipment independently with minimal supervision.
  • Troubleshoot routine process or equipment issues and communicate concerns when necessary.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine coating requirements and work sequences.
  • Accurately record labor, complete job operations, and requisition materials using the company's software system.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in powder coating, industrial painting, spraying, or a related finishing process.
  • A general understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • The ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
