The ideal Machine Operator will:
  • Machine Operation & Setup: Start, stop, and operate machinery (e.g., baggers, sealers, fillers) according to production schedules.
  • Production Monitoring: Monitor machine speed, temperatures, and, seal quality, making minor adjustments to ensure efficient operation and low waste.
  • Trouble shooting: Using manual or power tools to fix jams
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished products for proper weight, packaging, labeling, and seals to meet specifications.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning, troubleshooting, and basic repairs, such as clearing jams or clearing machine jams.
  • Material Handling: Ensure adequate supply of packaging materials (roll stock, labels, cartons) and handle raw products.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate production logs, including metal detector checks and batch records.

The ideal candidate must have:
  • Technical Skills: Ability to understand and troubleshoot mechanical machinery.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift, push, or pull heavy materials.

  • Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.

Weekly Schedule:
Monday through Thursday
1st Shift
6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

2nd Shift
2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Pay Rate Starts At: $17.50 to $18.00/hr.
