Job Description

Alleima, located in Clarks Summit, PA seeking Production Technician.

Alleima, a leading producer of seamless stainless tube products in Clarks Summit, PA, is seeking a Production Technician for its manufacturing facility. This company, created as a joint venture between Sandvik and Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metals was built on a firm foundation of teamwork and employee interaction

Key Performance Areas

As the Production Technician, you will be responsible for performing various manufacturing, quality control, and logistics tasks including operating saws, overhead cranes and inspection tools. This role will require a variety of industrial skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to learn new skills in support of manufacturing.

Additionally, the Machine Operator will:

  • Perform product quality inspections using various inspection tools

  • Participate in continuous improvement activities

  • Perform other duties assigned by Management

This position will require the ability to work any shift (1st/2nd/3rd)

Your profile

You possess a minimum of a high school diploma/GED and a strong mechanical aptitude. 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, and inspection experience would be a plus. Candidates should also possess basic math/data entry skills, and be a strong team player with the ability to perform well in a total quality, team-based environment. You are reliable, strongly focused on quality, and show a high level of initiative. The ability to work any shift is required.
