Responsibilities-
  • Operates production equipment to produce products in accordance with requirements including quality and output following verbal and written instructions.
  • Completes equipment adjustments and tooling changes to maintain compliance with specifications and quality procedures.
  • Inspects parts and documents findings on appropriate paperwork as needed.
  • Records length of time and quality of materials used for each job.
  • Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas.
  • Adheres to established policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations and notifies management of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications-
Required Education: High School Diploma/GED
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Ability to
    • Operate various production equipment with proper training and instruction.
    • Use standard measurement equipment.
    • Qualify for and operate a forklift.
    • Lift up to 50 pounds.
    • Stand for longs periods of time.
  • Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
  • Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.
