Job description

We are seeking a Bending Machine Operator to join a growing manufacturing team specializing in solar and electrical products. This individual will be responsible for operating and running a Mega Snake bending machine to continuously produce high-quality bent wire and metal components used in electrical and solar infrastructure applications.


This is a hands-on production role requiring prior bending machine experience and the ability to maintain consistent output while adhering to quality and safety standards. Duration: 6-month with potential for direct hire.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor a Mega Snake bending machine to manufacture wire and metal components.
  • Continuously run production parts with minimal downtime.
  • Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and production specifications.
  • Inspect completed products to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
  • Maintain production flow by loading materials and removing finished products.
  • Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot minor operating issues.
  • Work with large welded wire products, including grid-welded baskets up to 10 feet in length.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors and production personnel to meet production goals.



Required Qualifications

  • 2-4+ years of bending machine operating experience.
  • Experience running press brakes, wire bending equipment, or similar fabrication machinery.
  • Ability to operate production equipment continuously throughout a shift.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read measuring devices and perform quality checks.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift, move, and maneuver large metal products as required.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating a Mega Snake or similar automated bending equipment.
  • Experience within metal fabrication, electrical manufacturing, or solar product manufacturing.
  • Experience working with wire forms, welded assemblies, or metal baskets.



Physical Requirements
