Job description

We are looking for a motivated and engaged team member to join our growing organization. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring production machinery used in the manufacturing of cabinet doors. This role ensures cabinet door components are produced accurately, efficiently, and safely according to work orders, specifications, and quality standards. The Machine Operator plays a key role in maintaining consistent product quality, meeting production goals, and supporting overall manufacturing operations. Some responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
  • Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout practices, and wear required PPE
  • Operate production machinery such as CNC routers, shapers, sanders, saws, or molding equipment used in cabinet door manufacturing
  • Set up machines according to work orders, specifications, and production requirements
  • Load raw materials and unload finished components safely and efficiently
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure proper performance and product quality
  • Inspect finished cabinet door components for defects, dimensions, and finish quality
  • Make minor machine adjustments as needed to maintain specifications
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and report equipment malfunctions to supervisors or maintenance
  • Maintain accurate production documentation and follow job routing instructions
  • Meet production, quality, and efficiency standards
  • Assist with other production tasks as needed
