Production Machine Operator - Metal Manufacturing (2nd Shift)

Our highly automated production line is technical and project-driven, which means every order has unique requirements and every operator contributes directly to the quality of the finished product.

FALK Panel USA is seeking a Production Machine Operator to join our second-shift manufacturing team. This hands-on role supports several areas of a continuous automated production line, including material handling, loading steel coils, monitoring machinery, inspecting panel quality, packaging completed products, and helping ensure every order is manufactured correctly.

The position includes materials-handling responsibilities, so previous forklift experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate, monitor, or support equipment along a continuous production line
  • Review and understand project specifications, production instructions, colors, coatings, and material requirements
  • Handle and stage production materials as needed
  • Load or assist with loading steel coils and other materials using forklifts, overhead cranes, or related equipment, where applicable
  • Monitor automated machinery, control screens, pressures, temperatures, and overall production flow
  • Inspect finished panels for dents, scratches, defects, and other quality concerns
  • Package completed panel bundles with the required materials, labels, and documentation
  • Communicate clearly with team members using radios and established production procedures
  • Follow all workplace safety requirements
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, machine operation, production, warehousing, materials handling, or another industrial environment is preferred
  • Forklift experience is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Critical-thinking skills and the ability to understand project-specific production information
  • Comfortable working with and around automated manufacturing equipment
  • Basic computer or machine-interface experience is helpful
  • Dependable attendance and strong teamwork skills
  • Willing and able to work second shift, Monday through Thursday

Pay and Benefits

  • Full-time, W-2 employment
  • Starting base pay of $20 per hour
  • Additional $2 per hour second-shift premium
  • Monthly performance bonus opportunity of up to 12% of base earnings, based on company and/or individual KPI achievement
