Job description

*Stock and operator two multiple spindle automatics for a normal range of operations following standard procedures and general instructions.*Maintain established production standards.*Operate only after set ups have been made and checked by others.*Gage work, remove, sharpen, reset or replace dull tools, make slight adjustments when necessary.*Perform routine machine maintenance such as maintaining oil level, keeping oil screen free of chips, turn handle on oil filter, oil reel stands, etc.*Perform required quality checks on production parts using gages, verniers, micrometers checking parts to prescribed quality standards.*Perform bench work (sort, repair, wash parts) as required.*Maintain housekeeping of work bench and general machine area.*Notify leader of machine problems.Occasionally assist other operators and instruct lower-classed operator or trainees.
