Job Summary:
Process Technicians for Non-Woven material production line are responsible for maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Position requires data entry, machine monitoring, troubleshooting, quality control, and strong attention to detail.
Job Details:
  • Day Shift - 7:00AM-7:00PM or Night Shift - 7:00PM-7:00AM
  • Full-Time: Fixed 2-2-3 rotation
  • Pay starting at $20-25/hour, depending on education and experience
  • Holidays worked are paid double time

Job Description:
  • Complete Operator Training, assist with updating Operator training and assist with training others
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the sequential Control Logic that oversees the operation of the line
  • Starting Up the machine
  • Coordinating and performing housekeeping/rework functions
  • Must have good knowledge of computers as job entails data entry reports
  • Know quality standards and perform and document quality checks
  • Perform routine maintenance procedures
  • Perform required steps to complete size and product changeovers
  • Perform proper procedure to safely clear jams in all equipment
  • Cleanup work area and help others clean their areas if needed
  • Perform other related duties as determined by management
  • Must continuously follow all safety policies and procedures on the job
  • Plastics production line multistory machine
  • Job requires climbing stairs, machine readings, machine maintenance
  • Occasionally there may be lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
  • Associate Degree or equivalent required
  • Associates or degree/certificate from Technical Institution or Trade School preferred
  • Requires at least 5 years of machine operator experience
  • Mathematical skills to perform basic calculations
  • Must be able to work every other weekend and holidays, when scheduled
  • Must be able to stand for 12 hours, do frequent walking, climb stairs throughout the shift, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in a hot environment and handle exposure to high temperatures
  • Must be willing to submit to drug screen & background check upon hire
