Description: The maintenance technician primary duty is to ensure the essential functions of the maintenance department are completed in a timely matter under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Manager.
  • Sets up and operates manually controlled machines with skilled precision and bench work in fabrication, maintenance, repair and alteration of machinery, machine parts, tools and equipment to ensure the press machines, automated press machines, radial machines, automated radial machines are operating to ensure production goals are met.
  • Design techniques, tools and principals involved in production of precision technical plans and drawings.
  • Ability to perform mathematical computations while applying concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
  • The maintenance worker must have a broad-based plant maintenance experience, encompassing Electrical/PLC, Robotics, Mechanical, Welding, Machining, Hydraulics/Pneumatics, Conveyor systems, etc.
  • Employee will be responsible for day-to-day coverage of production equipment's in the workstation.
  • Is to respond to alarms, breakdowns, and requests as quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime. Will perform major equipment repairs and rebuilds when necessary.
  • Will be a part of R&D projects and help develop new products.
  • Will manage spare part or parts inventory, operate a forklift, and must be willing to tackle whatever maintenance challenge presents itself, and be willing to assist and learn from others in their areas of expertise.
  • Employee must have the ability to conform to established procedures and to help identify and solve problems.
  • Employee must have expertise in one trade, proficiency in others, and the willingness to learn additional.
  • Employee will maintain courteousness and a helpful demeanor with co-workers, vendors and acts as a team member with all employees of the management staff.
