Your Impact
Our machine operators are driving the first critical step in fabricating remote power panels that keep data centers running. In this role, you convert steel into precision components that support reliable, continuous power distribution.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and monitor machines to cut and shape metal components for remote power panels with precision and efficiency.
  • Utilize industrial machinery to cut, form, and prepare materials, ensuring components meet exact specifications for downstream assembly.
  • Safely load, unload, and position large-format metal sheets using forklifts or overhead cranes to maintain smooth production flow.
  • Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to verify parts align with technical drawings and data center power requirements.
  • De-tab, sort, and stage finished components by job number to support efficient assembly operations and maintain workflow continuity.
  • Conduct routine machine checks, including nozzle cleaning, lens inspection, and assist with gas cylinder changeouts to ensure consistent machine performance.
  • Maintain high standards of precision and productivity to support manufacturing output and minimize downtime in a fast-paced fabrication environment.
  • Accurately record material usage, machine activity, and job completion to support inventory tracking and production planning.

Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a machine operator is preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or construction environment
  • Must be comfortable lifting heavy material and working with your hands
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve independently
  • Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a strong desire to learn new things
  • Experience with Salvagnini machines is a plus

Physical Demands and Work Environment
