AG Wood Corp. is a growing woodworking company focused on high-quality craftsmanship and detail-driven residential projects. We specialize in custom builds and take pride in delivering exceptional results for our clients.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator with experience in woodworking applications. This role is responsible for operating, programming, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality custom wood components.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to cut, shape, and fabricate wood components.
  • Read and interpret  shop drawings, CAD files and specifications to ensure accuracy.
  • Set up machines, load materials, and monitor production runs.
  • Perform basic CNC programming and adjustments as needed. 
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
  • Monitor machine operations and inspect finished products to ensure accuracy and maintain quality control standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times in the workshop.
  • Maintain equipment and troubleshoot minor issues.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
  • Experience operating CNC machines in a woodworking environment
  • Familiarity with CAD software (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and precision
  • Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints 
  • Basic understanding of woodworking materials and processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills and work ethic

Requirements:
  • Technical training in CNC operation preferred.
  • Strong understanding of woodworking materials and techniques preferred.
  • Experience with cabinet or millwork production is a plus.
  • Ability to lift materials and work in a shop environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Willingness to adhere to safety standards and protocols.
