Job description

Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Machine Operator - 3rd Shift.
The hourly rate for this position is $21.00 per hour.
The shift hours are 7pm - 5:30am.

What you'll do:
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating 1 or multiple machines to fabricate sheet metal into usable parts. This could include running a press brake, precision laser cutter, or assisting in the deburr process. The ability to read and interpret engineering prints and provide input/program the above machines will help you be successful in this position.
In this function you will:
• Reference engineering prints or drawings
• Input program parameters into machine
• Operate a press brake, laser cutter, and/or assist in deburring process
• Operate a forklift to move raw material
• Use precision measuring devices to verify correct material
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• 1 year of Machine Operator (press brake, CNC, shear, or laser) experience required
• Must be able to read a tape measure to the 1/16"

Position Criteria:
• Be willing and able to stand for up to 8 hours per day
• Be willing and able to lift 35 pounds on a regular basis
• Previous experience with blueprint reading or schematics will serve you well
• Familiarity with Precision measuring devices, Calipers and Micrometers
• Understand and recognize different gauges of mild steel
