Description

The Duplicating Machine Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, and producing documents using high-volume duplicating and copying equipment. This role ensures timely, accurate, and high-quality document reproduction in accordance with established procedures and security requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate high-volume duplicating machines and copiers
  • Set up machines and adjust settings according to job requirements
  • Monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Receive, prioritize, and manage incoming print and copy requests
  • Ensure all jobs are completed accurately and within required timeframes
  • Inspect completed materials to confirm quality standards are met
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs
  • Monitor supply levels and restock paper, toner, and related materials
  • Handle confidential and sensitive materials in accordance with security protocols
  • Provide status updates and customer service to internal clients
  • Maintain production logs, records, and other required documentation

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience in a copy center or print production environment
  • Experience operating high-volume duplicating and copying equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Basic mechanical aptitude

Clearance: Must be authorized to work in the United States; ability to obtain/maintain Moderate Risk Public Trust
