Position Summary:

As an AI & ML Engineer, you’ll design, deploy, and optimize machine learning systems that drive intelligent decision-making across the organization. You’ll work at the intersection of data science, engineering, and product strategy—building models that are not only performant but also interpretable, scalable, and aligned with human oversight. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and is passionate about shaping agentic, adaptive systems that balance automation with discernment.

Responsibilities:

1.       Develop and deploy supervised and unsupervised models using Python, MLflow, and Databricks

2.       Collaborate on experimentation strategies, including A/B testing and causal inference

3.       Optimize model performance for latency, accuracy, and cost across cloud environments

4.       Contribute to the design of human-in-the-loop workflows and explainable AI systems

5.       Partner with data engineers to ensure robust data access and preprocessing

6.       Document model assumptions, limitations, and decision boundaries for transparency
 

Working Relationships:

  • Data Scientists: Co-develop modeling strategies and validate performance metrics
  • Data Engineers: Align on feature pipelines, data access, and model deployment infrastructure
  • Product Managers: Translate business goals into ML use cases and success criteria
  • Analytics Leads: Ensure model outputs are interpretable and actionable for stakeholders
  • Governance & Ethics Teams: Collaborate on fairness, accountability, and risk mitigation

Minimum Education: High School or general equivalent

Minimum Experience: 3 years in data engineering or a closely related field

Preferred Experience: 5 years with hands on experience in Databricks or Spark based systems

Soft Skills:

  • Systems Thinking: Understands how models interact with broader workflows and user behavior
  • Curiosity & Rigor: Balances experimentation with disciplined evaluation and reproducibility
