Job description

In this newly created leadership role within our Operational Excellence team, you will ignite innovation at OnLogic by designing and deploying high-impact AI solutions within our organization that drive significant business value. Success will be launching cutting-edge tools and championing systems and process shifts that ensure our AI initiatives are reliable and scalable.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:
  • Effectively deploying AI across OnLogic, including driving the systems and structure needed to maintain the tools after implementation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, and apply this knowledge to ongoing projects.
  • Lead the development of new AI-powered features and products, identifying opportunities for innovation within the company.
  • Guide business process to support AI implementations and automation.
  • Determine feasibility for new AI projects that provide real business value.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of AI in production, ensuring reliability and scalability.
  • Manage and mentor a team of AI/ML developers.

This is accomplished by leveraging automation and a multitude of other improvement processes. Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar technical/business field.
  • 5+ years of experience in AI/ML development and deployment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing technical teams.
  • Deep proficiency in Machine Learning (Supervised/Unsupervised), LLMs, and Computer Vision within industrial or manufacturing contexts.
  • Proven track record of orchestrating the full AI lifecycle, from ROI assessment to governance and long-term maintenance.
  • Experience designing scalable AI systems integrated with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), Edge AI, and enterprise systems like MES or ERP.
  • Experience with data pipeline oversight, ensuring integrity, quality, and compliance with global standards (GDPR, NIST AI RMF).
  • Ability to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Benefits
The salary range for this role is $170,000 - $190,000. We determine final compensation based on discussions with applicants and their experience in similar roles.
